Our story initially started in 1973 as Conlog’s Industrial Control Systems Division, a global leader in metering solutions for utilities, municipalities and property management companies, now owned by Schneider Electric.  At the time, Autotronix was created to trade with the Anglo-American market due to trade sanctions under the Apartheid regime.  In 1996 Autotronix was reborn as an independent organization with founding members Mervyn Gan, Collin Chetty and Haroon Bassa, and operating from our Head Quarters in Durban, South Africa.

What initially started off as an industrial automation company focusing primarily on PLC and SCADA work, has since transformed into a multifaceted industrial automation solution based company that embraces aspects of other engineering disciplines including process, mechanical and civil engineering.
